Hydroxypropyl Guar G-HPG

1. Product Introduction 

Hydroxypropyl guar (G-HPG) is a sort of high-molecular derivatives with appropriate substitution degree of hydroxypropyl produced with natural guar. The dispersity and solubility in water are excellent. It is compatible with ion, anion and non-ionic surfactants, and it owns high electrolyte resistance and shear thinning performance. It is mainly used in fracturing fluids and drilling fluids. The usage concentration in fracturing fluids is 0.3%-0.5%. When it is used for fracturing stimulation, mix the Hydroxypropyl guar fluid with crosslinker and proppant as an integrated fracturing slurry system. Some characteristics of this product improve the fracturing treatment effect, including its high viscosity, small amount of residuals, low damage, high water solubility, low insolvable contents, controllable rheology, and easy flowback and so on. This products is mainly used for make water-based fracturing fluid system in hydraulic fracturing stimulation or pad in acid-fracturing treatment, and it is a necessary product for fracturing stimulation on high temperature, deep and low permeability oil and gas wells. Adding this products in drilling mud will improve the viscosity and lower the circulation loss.
