Carboxymethyl-Hydroxypropyl Guar (G-CMHPG) is a sort of anionic high-molecular polymer compounded by step reaction between Carboxymethyl functional group and Hydroxypropyl functional group. It is light yellow powder in appearance, odourless and hygroscopic. It is solvable in water but insolvable in most organic solvents. As a significant additive in fracturing fluid for oil and gas production, it is quite suitable for downhole stimulation treatment and production enhancement. PH environment, shearing and temperature can induce change to it during viscosity buildup. It is not a self-hydrated product but its PH value can be modified to agree with the downhole environment requirement through certain facilities. If used with a certain acid, organic acids such as fumaric acid and hexane diacid are recommended. Under low temperature condition hydration might be delayer initially, but the viscosity will be rapidly established to the required level; under normal or high temperature conditions this product will be rapidly hydrated and release its viscosity. This product owns high alcohol tolerance but is somewhat sensitive to high salinity.
As a significant additive in fracturing fluids, this products owns stable high temperature tolerance and can be crosslinked with various polyvalent metal ions such as boron, zinc, titanium and alumni. Normally, when crosslinked with Carboxyl group alumni compounded crosslinker is recommended. Due to its small amount of water-insolvable contents and residuals and complete gel breaking performance under low temperature condition it is quite suitable for low temperature wells. The proppant carrying capacity of this product is excellent and it can easily afford high concentration of most types of proppant particles including gravels.

The product is packaged the compound package bags with polyethylene lining and polyethylene kraft paper external surface. The net quality capacity is 25 kg.
· This product should be stored in ventilated and dry warehouses and be away from chemicals such as acids or alkalis;
· Avoid damp; move slightly in delivery; avoid shocking.
· Nature vegetable gum, non-toxic, non-smell, non-corrosiveness;
· No environment impacts, naturally degraded;
· Non-flammable, direct fire-extinguishing with water.
7. Emergency treatments
In case of inhalation or ingestion of this product one must promptly seek medical treatment; please flushing with clean water when it touches eyes; if red eye or pain occurs one must promptly seek medical treatment.
